Dogs Seeking a Home |

Please Note
Please note that our volunteers are not able to answer the phone before 9am and after 7pm so please do not call outside of these hours except in an emergency - Thank You.
OUR DOG POLICY
Some things to consider when thinking about adopting a dog:-
1. We do not home dogs to people living in flats
2. We do not home to people without gardens
3. Dogs need exercise and regular walks, regular access to a park would be a good idea.
4. Dogs can be energetic, regardless of their size, think about how able bodied you are before considering adopting a dog.

Jazz
This beautiful one year old female came into rescue with a badly set broken leg, which then had to be amputated. She has adjusted extremely well to life on three legs and can outrun all her dog friends with four. She would be good with children and would love to participate in family life. She is living with an older dog already, so mixes well with other dogs.

Lurchers are very lively dogs and if you have had any previous experience of this type, it could be an advantage.

Murphy
Murphy is a 4 year old cross breed (possibly collie/jack russell). He is neutered, micro-chipped & vaccinated. He is great with people, very sociable. He loves sitting on laps, having a tummy rub and sleeping by the fire. Needs a home with an experienced dog owner, where he is the only pet. For further information call Barbara on (020) 8688 6568

Gus
Gus is a delightful 9 month old Staffordshire cross with a lovely character and masses of personality. He's gentle, friendly and affectionate and gets on well with other dogs although can at times be a little boisterous. He is inquisitive and extremely lively and requires plenty of exercise and stimulation. As a large breed he needs lots of space and a substantial garden would be ideal.
Gus is a special dog and would make a wonderful family pet – let's hope we can find him the home he deserves.
Please call Barbara on (020) 8688 6568.

Mikey
Mikey is a much loved 4 year old fox terrier who is looking for a very special home. Due to a change in their personal circumstances, his owners are being forced to rehome him as soon as possible, ideally by the end of July. He has been blind since birth, so needs someone who has a good understanding of what this will entail. He is bright and sweet natured, but adjustment to a new home and new surroundings will obviously throw up all sorts of challenges for him. We will be getting him to an eye specialist soon in order to establish whether there is any chance that surgery might enable his to be partially sighted. Please contact Danuta on 07817 753910 with any questions.
