Cats Seeking a Home

Cats Seeking Homes

How to adopt a Cat from CAS

If you see a cat that you would like to adopt, you must contact the fosterer, between the hours of 9am and 7pm, whose telephone number appears with the cats details. DO NOT send emails in regard to adoption.

Please note that we do ask for a donation to aid the charity in continuing it's good work in helping the animals that are referred to us. We normally ask a minimum donation of £65 per cat but this is at the discretion of the individual fosterer and is dependant on the cat you are homing. Thank you.

These are only a selection as we have cats coming in every day. New cats appear at the bottom of the page.

Moses

Moses

We have a shy large loving tabby cat called Moses who has been used to a quiet loving home. He is 9 years old, healthy, and likes to sit with you, but not on your lap until he trusts you. All veterinary bills will be paid by the CAS for Moses.

Please call Audrey on 01883 331367 for more information.

Millie

Millie is about 2 years old. She is being fostered in the Croydon area. She has already had two litters of kittens and now wants a loving home and a rest! She came into us because her elderly owner died.

Please call Heather on (020) 8657 0327

Harrison & Betty

Harrison and Betty

A lovely boy and girl, all black, about 8 months old, looking for a loving adult only home together - we do not want to part them. Great with other cats and also good with dogs (as you can see from the photo).

Corki

Corki has been abandoned, since his owners died.
Phone Anna on 020 8698 6813.

pickles

Pickles

Pickles, 10 months old, is very playful and affectionate and will happily sit on your lap. Her ideal home would be with someone who has plenty of time to give her the love she so deserves and has no other pets. If you live away from busy roads and have a garden please call Julie on 020 8668 1203

Harry and Sophie

Harry & Sophie

Hi there, my name is Harry, and this is Sophie. I am the black and white cat and my name is Harry. I am three years old and I would like to introduce you to my mum who is called Sophie and as you can see from the photo she is all black and is seven years old. We both love our tummies to be stroked and we would like to be rehomed together in a home with a garden either with a family with children over eight or with a couple in a quiet road. All we want is your love and we will give you so much affection in return. We both have been vaccinated and neutered and are ready to become part of your family. One thing we would like to mention, we are not keen on dogs so would much prefer to live without any doggy pets!

Please consider us if you are thinking of adopting two cats. Please call Lois on (020) 8647 7815.

Lickie

Lickie

Liqourice (aka Lickie) is still looking for a home. Lickie is a young famel cat and has been with me for 3 months now - it would seem she is being overlooked because she is a pure black cat. She is the most placid of cats and wants for nothing but a steady stream of meals and somewhere to sleep comfortably. She has been neutered and innoculated up to date. She would prefer a fairly quite home, any children should be over 10 years old. If you can offer her a home away from busy roads please call Lois on (020) 8647 7815.

Dinah

Dinah

Dinah came to one of our foster homes with her 5 kittens. She was in a pretty sorry state after probably having litter after litter of kittens and very poor nutrition. Having been with us for the past few months she has really come on leaps on bounds, gained weight and look s a different cat. Dinah is approximately 3 - 5 years old and would dearly love a home of her own or with one of her kittens. Dinah's kittens are in the kitten section.

If you are interested in giving Dinah a home then please phone Barbara on 0208 688 6568.

Harry and Tootsie

Simba

Simba

Simba is a very gentle 12 year old boy whose elderly owner has gone to live abroad with her family due to ill health. She was very reluctant to part with the cat and very tearful. He will need very regular grooming!
Please call Audrey on 01883 331367.

blackandwhite

Friendly female

A lovely, young, black and white female. Friendly and growing in confidence, she would benefit from being in an experienced cat home, preferably without young children.
Please call Heather on (020) 8657 0327.

trig2

Trig

Trig is a neutered, black male cat of approximately 5 years of age. He would like a home with a garden and away from busy roads. He has had some exposure to young children, but takes himself off to a quite spot when they are around, so ideally children over 10 would suit him. If you can offer Trig a home, please call Lois on (020) 8647 7815 or Anna on (020) 8698 6813.

esme

Esme

Esme is a lovely all black female cat of about 1 year. She has been neutered and vaccinated. She was found in a garden and taken in by a cat lover who is currently looking after her. She loves to play and is very friendly. Ideally she would love a home on her own. Please phone Anna on 07790 337119 or 020 8698 6813.

Sherpa

Sherpa

Sherpa is approximately 3 years old. He is a lovely round faced ginger and white boy cat. He has had his first innoculation and a health check at the vets, so is ready to go to a new home. He was found abandoned in a cat carrier in Croydon without any bedding, water or food. If you can offer Sherpa a new home, away from busy roads, please call Lois on (020) 8647 7815

Bob01

Bob

Meet Bob. As you can see he has a been through the wars, and this is a consequence of not being neutered.
Un-neutered males stray and fight, receiving injuries that may become infected and form an abcess.
This sort of suffering can easily be avoided by simply having your cat neutered. Free neutering is available
at many vets under the C4 scheme. Fortunately, Bob is now safely in our care and having treatment for his injuries. He has also been neutered. His wound will take sometime to heal but the vet is hopeful that he will
be make a full recovery. We are not sure what the cause was but it could have been the result of an untreated abscess or a burn of some kind. Although Bob is not quite ready for rehoming we thought we would put him on the website anyway and of course if someone would like to offer him a home that would be great. He is an amenable chap and completely docile. He loves his food.

Please phone Anna on 020 8698 6813 or 07790 337119
