Kittens Seeking Homes up to 6 months old |
Our Kitten Policy
Please consider the following important points when thinking of adopting a kitten or kittens:-
1) Many people enquire about homing a single kitten. Are you at work all day? If so, a single kitten would get very lonely, it may be better to consider a pair of kittens to keep each other company during the long day.
2) Can you keep a kitten or kittens indoors until they have been spayed/neutered? If you have children, what are the practicalities of them keeping doors and windows closed?
3) Kittens become cats and can live to a ripe old age (up to 20 years at times) – it is a long commitment!
4) Do you go away on holiday a lot – who will look after the cat or cats?
5) Do you live on a busy road, or is the surrounding area very busy? If so, this is not an ideal place for a kitten to live – you may be better considering a ‘streetwise’ cat.
6) Veterinary fees can be expensive. As a guide, annual vaccinations are approximately £30-£35 each (kittens need 2 vaccinations when they are 9 and 13 weeks old). Spaying and neutering costs £45-£55 per kitten. Check with your local vet for their tariff, as prices do vary. Feeding a cat will cost you a minimum of £5 per week. Your cat will also need regular flea and worm treatment.
These guidelines are for the best interests of the cats and also the new owners– remember that happy cats make happy cat owners!

George (shorthaired ginger and white) looks after his friend Frankie (shorthaired black) who is a little shy, although about two weeks older.They would enjoy a home where they could play together, if possible.

Dinah's Kittens
These 5 beautiful kittens came to one of our foster homes with their mum Dinah, who was in poor condition due to having repeated litters of kittens. They are now 9 - 10 weeks old having been with us for the past month or so. They hadn't had much handling prior to this but have got much more used to people now and are very inquisitive, playful and healthy kittens, who will continue to need lots of love and attention.
There are 2 black and white males, one black male and 2 black and white females.

Jade & Amber
Jade and Amber are a beautiful pair of female tabby kittens of 13 weeks. We have started their first vaccinations. Ideally we would like to home them together if at all possible.

Shyler
Very pretty, affectionate, orange eyed, black (with small amount of white on bib) female of about 5 months old. Shyler has been neutered and has started her innoculations. She seems to enjoy the company of other cats and likes to 'trill' with you!

Barney & Billy
Barney & Billy - 6 month old semi-long-haired brothers looking for a loving home together. They are a little timid and need owners who can help them grow in confidence. Barney is more confident and loves a fuss, and Billy is a little more shy but very mischevious! They like other cats, but will prefer a home without very young children.
