Volunteer help

Volunteers help Croydon Animal Samaritans in many ways.

  1. Fostering animals short term until permanent homes are found.
  2. Fund raising - Work on own initiative to raise funds, help at events, knit catnip mice.
  3. Volunteer staff at our charity shop - to help with the day to day running and operation at our charity shop.

Please note we are only able to offer students work experience placements at our charity shop.

Cat Fosterers

You can foster if you live in a flat or house and it can be in a spare room.  We will provide all necessary equipment, food and litter etc.  You may also be required to take your foster cat to and from the vets for vaccination, neutering or treatment etc.  For that reason it will be necessary that you have access to a vehicle and are able to drive.

Pet food Donation Programme 2021, collecting and emptying donations bins

CAS has a number of food donation bins in stores located in and around the South London area.

Each bin is used to collect food and supplies for the cats in our care, as well as the feral colonies we manage, and need to be emptied regularly.

We are looking for volunteers to empty bins, drop off donated food at several central sites and send through totals (tins and pouch totals, brand splits) to Nina Quistorff.

Please email Nina on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you are interested or for more information.
